vodQA - Value Oriented Discussions for Quality Analysts, is a forum that sports the motto - "Come learn something new". The forum offers a unique platform for the software testing industry to strengthen the QA community through knowledge sharing.

So far, we have successfully hosted more than 20 editions of vodQA across all Thoughtworks India offices. vodQA aims at taking you to another level altogether, where you get a wider perspective of testing. Let us meet more evangelists, to talk and learn about the vast spectrum of testing realms.

Patterns and Anti-Patterns of test automation framework

At TW we are generally quite proficient at picking up tools and implementing it on a project. However, across projects there are many issues seen due to:
- a lack of knowledge on how to implement a framework optimally
- a lack of boilerplate code or rush jobs just to get automation in place.
This talk will walk through some patterns and anti-patterns of test automation - right from understanding how to automate, how to choose the best tool for automation to creating a complete framework that is maintainable and extensible

How do we manage it how do we create a robust framework that is independent of the test data. This talk in it's entirety deals with test data strategies for automation frameworks and how to choose a specific one

Having 10 years of experience in Quality and Security areas. He helps teams build quality and secure applications. Over time he has been setting up enterprise level security and quality practices for teams over past two years. He likes to learn, guide and explore different tools and libraries in wide range. Strategy, Devsecops and Threat modelling are his favourite areas and currently his quest is to dig deep in to cloud security. He is working as a technical product owner and also is a security community lead for Thoughtworks India

Anirudh Konduri

Senior consultant and having around 6+ years of experience on QA front with different domain knowledge like Web, Mobile, API and DB. Currently he is working on mobile end and making out stuffs for automation as well. He loves looking at technology and reading about new tools / technologies. He also love contributing to open-source projects.
